Wabash College seeks candidates for its Summer Lifeguard position.  This position requires licensing in Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR & AED. Additional responsibilities include maintaining pool logs, ensuring patron safety, creating a welcoming and helpful environment.  Independent judgment must be exercised to manage unusual situations as may arise with patrons. Work is reviewed through observation, review of records, and patron feedback.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Providing participants, a safe and secure environment
• Providing valued, memorable programs, services and experiences.
• Working together & recognizing that staff behavior reflects Wabash 皇冠足球比分_澳门皇冠体育-在线|平台@llness
• Fostering individual development through teaching
• Making efficient & effective use of college resources

Qualifications:

• Lifeguard, First Aid, CPR & AED are required
• Act as a representative for the Allen Center, Athletics and Wabash College
• Record pool logs at least once per shift
• Be on time to every shift you are assigned to
• Communicate effectively with other Lifeguards and Head Swimming and Diving coach
• Ensure patron safety by monitoring conditions, reporting hazards, mechanical issues, and custodial needs in per-shift online supervisor report;
• Routine locker room checks to ensure safety of patrons
• Open and/or close facility as scheduled;
